Why we exist

The holiday let industry has a trust problem. Property owners hand over their most valuable asset and receive a quarterly PDF in return. We think that is not good enough.

Stay Managed was founded to prove that property management can be transparent, evidence-led, and accountable. We show owners what we do, how we do it, and what it produces. Not because they ask, but because that is the standard we set for ourselves.

We operate exclusively in Yorkshire. Every property we manage is within reach of a local team member. We are not a national franchise spreading thin. We are one company going deep in one region, building the operational infrastructure to do this properly.

Stay Managed was founded by a former cybersecurity and governance professional who spent 15 years designing assurance systems for organisations that needed to prove they were doing what they said.

The transition was not as unusual as it sounds. In cybersecurity, you build frameworks: defined controls, measured outcomes, evidence trails, and accountability when standards slip. Property management needs exactly the same discipline. The industry just has not applied it yet.
